had that been said by anyone else he would have thought they were nuts, a psycho. Truth be told given the manner of this place she still might be. However given the conversation he had earlier it would see that this is his employer, for now at least. He lowered his pistol and gave a dismissive shrug at her comment, shaking his head. This must have been good enough for her because he was rewarded by her tossing him the rifle. Standard M-8 avenger with no spare mags, he never cared for most rifles, perfering weapons he could use one handed. Now was not the time to be picky however. holstering the pistol he motioned for her to follow him. The lock up was one floor down form their position, he they hurried they could get there before any guards showed up. That is, if she followed him that was.

Fehln Davris

He had been reloading when the salarian decided to join the fight. He had emptied what was left of his last clip going completely by memory, and judging by the sound of the guns, neither of the guards had been killed yet. He was about to step out of cover for a moment to take a shot at one of the guards when the salarian did something he rarely saw from their species: he willingly put himself in the line of fire.

His tech armor absorbed most of the punishment, and with the skill and steady hands only a specialist could employ, he killed one of the guards. Their employer truly was no ordinary salarian. When the Salarian asked him and the batarian to 'share with the class', he took a breath to steady himself, swapping out his phalanx for the shuriken. He activated his own tech armor and and revealed himself to the remaining guard, ignoring the shots that hit him as he replied in kind with his own. He eventually reached his final six shot burst, and closed his eyes as the tech armor dissipated, having served its purpose.

They glowed with biotic power when opened them, time slowing down from his perspective. He looked down the sights of the smg with his scope eye, studying the guard for any exploitable weaknesses that he wouldn't normally be able to see this easily without this power of his. It did not take him long to find the bullet holes from some of the bullets that had made it passed the shield, and aimed the smg at the area, firing off the burst as he took cover once again as his shields disappeared, the satisfying sound of the guard falling to the ground bringing a smile to his face, though the guard was still probably alive if the salarian was correct about them being elite.

Gerard Kalgard

"Then it's my turn to take a shot," he grunted. An Eviscerator packed a punch, but required a careful hand to be effective. A novice would simply miss and squander their opportunity, and the M - 22 was not a forgiving weapon.

He stood as close as he could to the wall without touching it, lest the proximity interfere with his aim. A close-quarters engagement in a narrow corridor is exactly what the M - 22 was designed for. Even so, the guards would not approach without taking precautions. They might not be professional military, but they weren't stupid either.

The first guard, a male human wearing a helmet that obscured his age, took point. His movement was brisk yet observant. As he approached the corner, he gave his comrade the signal to stop. He then slowly moved to peer around the corner.

Next thing he knew, he was looking down the barrel of a shotgun. Before he could even register what he was looking at, the gun was fired, splattering the nearby wall with blood, metal, bone, and gray matter. His comrade stepped back, alerted first by the loud blast of the shotgun firing and then by his friend's corpse. He backed up, gaining range while raising his own weapon. It was necessary for him to proceed, but he wasn't about to walk into certain death. Instead, he had a more clever way of dealing with entrenched interlopers.

Gerard looked down at the corpse of his victim only briefly. Part of him expected the other one to simply jump out at him and start a firefight. When this did not occur, he became worried. Did the guard retreat, or did he rearm? The answer came in the form of a small disc that hurdled past his face and affixed itself to a nearby wall. Gerard's days in the Alliance taught him what this meant.

"Get down! Grenade!" he shouted to Sashryn as he himself threw his body to the floor.

Kiares
She opted to follow the Quarian, thinking that if he’d managed to open every cell in the near vicinity, he had most likely also found a map of the place. In case he had not, one potential meat shield was better than none.

He led her to a set of stairs, which they used to go down one level. So far, they were lucky enough not to run into any more guards. That changed once they reached a hallway at whose end four guards had barricaded themselves in front of a door behind a makeshift barricade consisting of furniture and metal boxes.

The mere fact that they obviously didn’t want anyone to get into that room made her grateful being led here.

For now the two of them were hiding behind the edge of the wall where the hallway took a turn to the side. Far enough away that she could poke her head over the edge to take a look at the opposition without being detected, but not far enough away to have a discussion about how to approach this situation. And since her companion was mute anyway…

Settling for giving him a meaningful glance, which really could mean anything, she gathered biotic energy in her left fist. She quickly stepped out of cover, took aim, threw a ball of biotic engery, then swiftly went back into cover as bullets impacted against the wall she hid behind. Waiting for two seconds, she heard the impact of her biotics at the end of the hallway. Making a yanking motion with her arm, the hapless Salarian guard, still relieved that the blue ball had neither imploded nr lifted him, was suddenly forcefully flung through the air towards where the asari had appeared, breaking a leg as he passed the barricade and causing his comrades to halt their fire. When he had reached the edge of the hallway, still trapped in biotics, a blue hand reached out, grabbed the front of his armour, and drew him behind cover as well. Then another blue hand broke his neck.

Holding the dead guard up with her left hand, Kiare’s right drew her new pistol. Looking at the Quarian, she nudged her head towards the barricade, then turned and stepped out of cover again.

This time, she held the Salarian corpse in front of her body, and while he was dead, his personal shield was still functional. Letting it soak up the incoming bullets, she calmly opened fire in return, collapsing the shields of one guard. Now hopefully her Quarian friend would take advantage of the situation before both Salarian and shield broke down….

Kayne

The young human, face still obstructed by heavily-messed black hair, cautiously but hurriedly made his way down a corridor, avoiding activity or attention when possible, sometimes slumping against a nearby wall silently when the occasional prisoner ran by. His cell's relatively close proximity to the lock up was advantageous in that he could reach it quickly and also that few guards would be there in the event of a breakout, at least at first. The drawback would be that once some time had elapsed and they reached the dead-end of the storage location, there would be no place to flee.

Fortunately, he would only have to reach the lock up. Although feeling somewhat naked without his armor, the truth of the matter was that he had no weapons there aside from a basic sidearm. The real truth was that he himself was the weapon. All he needed was a means to damage and remove the suppressive shackles adorning his wrists. His gaze occasionally glancing from his hunched-over and hair-obstructed face, thus far he had seen no prisoners wielding a weapon. Soon he turned a corner, the stretch of hallway laid out before him revealing at its end the last turn before the final section of corridor that should lead to the lock-up.

Doubtful that this sector would remain lightly-populated for long, the silent prisoner began to immediately shamble through the corridor towards the lock-up, his attention-avoiding farce-limping giving way to a brisk stride. His pace immediately slowed, almost freezing when he suddenly heard noises around the corner just ahead. Not turning into the final hallway just yet, he would remain in place, his back pressed against the corridor wall.

The sounds of...biotic usage. Intriguing. This was followed by gunfire. Kayne at this moment crouched onto one knee, slowly peeking his head around the corner and finding his hair-covered gaze met with the backside of what appeared to be a quarian and a strongly-built asari. They appeared to be prisoners. Seeing them make use of a corpse as a shield while the two remaining guards opened fire, he would duck behind the corner again.

The likely outcome of the engagement was not yet clear, but for the time being he would wait at his current position, for the time being refraining from getting involved. If he could merely get ahold of a stray weapon or means to remove his shackles at some point, that would be more than enough.

Ken'ara nar Usela

Things had gone smoothly for a moment, Kiares had followed him without complaint and they hadn't seen much resistance, none in fact. Till they hit the lock up. He gave a deep sight, though all that could be seen was his shoulders slump slightly, he had hoped to get here before they did something like this. No matter, he spotted a nearby vent, if his guess was right he could slip inside of it, get past the guards and retrieve his gear from the next room without ever being spotted.

A great plan, until the asari with him jumped out and Bioticly yanked a poor Salarian down the hallway. He watched as she broke the Salarian's neck in one quick motion. Well, while a bit crude in her tactics she did at least seem efficent at killing. She gave him a look as she stepped out, using the now dead Salarian as a shield. He had enough time to slap his palm against his helmet before rushing out. He was in a much more deadly position, a single grazing wound would be nothing to her, but could mean death for him. He tried to use both her and the Salarian as much as he could, ducking and leveling his rifle to the right of her, just barley poking around her meat shield.

He opened up on the same target she had hit, dropping a Batarian with a couple of rounds to the chest. He quickly switched targets to a human trying to hose them down with his own rifle. Ken fired at the human, his rounds cutting into his shield before he heard the tell tale sound of his thermal clip drying out. cursing, not like anyone could hear it anyway, he looked around. He looked at the Salarian meat shield, well what was left of him as he was taking quite a few rounds by now. On the up side he had one termal clip that had not been hit yet, snatching it up Ken went to reload the rifle, however they were quickly running low on time.

Sashryn Velentor

Sashryn nodded her compliance as she moved behind the shotgun wielding man. If he wants to put himself in harm's way for both of our sakes, who am I to stop him? As the two guards came closer, she crouched against the wall and aimed the Predator past her comrade, waiting for one of them to poke their heads around the corner. When one did, however, the middle-aged man got the shot off first, splattering his brain on the nearby wall. Sashryn readied herself for the second soldier's attack, but it never came.

Not until, that is, a round metal object flew past them and attached itself to a wall. Having little experience in actual combat, she wasn't quite sure how to react until her ally started shouting that it was a grenade. Reacting as quickly as she could, Sashryn threw herself as far from the grenade as she could and crouched into a fetal position, her back facing the explosive.

When it went off, the explosion rocked the corridor. Sashryn was far enough away that, other than shaking her up, it harmed her little. The worst she received were a few cuts on her exposed right arm from shrapnel. Recovering quickly from necessity, the young woman picked herself up and ran to the corner with her gun raised. Deciding to take a large risk, she swung around the edge and took three shots at the strategically gifted guard. All three bullets passed through one of the weakest parts in any armor: the neck.

Sashryn let out a deep sigh as the guard fell to the ground. This wasn't her field. She was a sniper, not a soldier. Nonetheless, if she wanted to escape the prison, she would be forced into situations like these.

Her thoughts were interrupted by her noticing of the second guards weapon. She took a few steps closer and upon further examination, a grin threatened to cross her features.

"Well would you look at that..." She muttered, lifting the rifle from the corpse's stiff grasp. "It's my
M-13 Raptor. At least the guard they gave it to wasn't completely incompetent..." She held the sniper rifle in her hands, examining the weapon. It was largely unchanged from when she last held it, save for the fact that it needed cleaning. With this weapon in her grasp, she could do some real damage. Situations like these might be completely avoided with a well placed headshot. Realizing she couldn't carry two guns without a holster, she removed one from the dead guard, tossing the sidearm within aside. Strapping the holster to her side, she thrust the M-3 into it and held the Raptor almost lovingly in her arms. It felt good to hold it again. Turning slightly, she called back to her companion.

"Are you ready to keep moving?"

Kiares

Kiares used her last few rounds to down the human whose shields had been weakened by Ken with two shots to the chest. At that time, the shields of the corpse she was holding had broken down, same as his body. At the other side of the hallway, the last remaining guard had emptied the clip of his rifle as well. Instead of reloading though, he went for a sidearm instead.

Sufficient time.

Dropping the Salarian like an inconsequential piece of trash, Kiares bowed down and executed a Biotic Charge forward. Instead of the guard, whose eyes were widening almost comically, her target was the metal crate in front of him. When she hit it, the box once more proved why Issac newton was the deadliest sonofabitch in space, as it was smashed right into the last guard standing, pulverising his armor, his organs, his bones.

Her impassive expression clashing with her previous acts of violence, Kiares looked behind her, saw ken still standing and with seemingly intact suit. Motioning him to follow, she strode into the room the dead guards had protecting.

Ah, the lock up. At his point, she chose to put more energy into keeping Ken alive.
With one eye to the door, the two of them started rummaging through the room, looking for their things. After a short while, Kiares found hers. The M-3 Predator, her black suit, her combat gloves, and her mask.

Straining her ears, and now with both eyes on the door to not get blindsided, once she was confident that nobody was coming, she quickly discarded her prison garb, and put on her usual outfit. One of the few benefits of having little armour, it took little time to dress. Next she slipped her hands into her combat gloves, unable to supress a grin now that she was one more able to punch people with little risk of breaking her own hand in the process. Then she attached her gun to her belt.

Lastly, she picked up her mask. Pitch black, it covered a fourth of her face, nose, mouth and chin, adorning it with an impossibly long grin filled with fangs.

Flexing her muscles, her voice now sounding much more colder and detached, she whispered:
“Piares is lonely. Let’s send her some company.”

Ken'ara nar Usela

Ken had watched as she used her Biotics in a unique fashion, it was fairly interesting to see to be honest. He stood up and followed her into the lockup, immediately moving off to find his gear. It took a moment but he found he, smashing the lock with the rifle he opened the locker.

Pulling out a small cube and inserting it into his suit he smiled as lights flickered to life on his hud. Holding up his left hand his Omni-tool flared into life, and then vanished again as he reached back into the locker. He grabbed his gear bag, his shield, his pistol, smg, sniper and last but not least, his sword. He held the sword up to the light for a moment, watching the light reflect off of it. Sheathing the blade and tang the sheath on his back he walked back to where he last saw Kiares, and immediately turned around when he saw her changing. Glad for a moment that no one could see how flush his cheeks had just gotten him though to use this moment to busy himself. Activating his Omni-tool he started fiddling away, a few seconds later he tried to speak, and only got static. Another couple of keys and he tried again.
"--est one two, test one two." grinning under his mask he turned when he heard her speak, seeing that she was now wearing her own mask. Moving next to her he held up his omni-tool again, he really had missed the thing.
"We should head for the landing zone, if any of your friends that made that distraction are still alive, that's the only place that they can land a shuttle to get out. If not we can always just take the prisons shuttle. Shall we?"

Harus
The crash was a tad more violent then he'd expected, but it failed to either kill him or cause noticeable damage to his important bits, so there was nothing to be worried about. After quickly securing his helmet in the proper place, i.e. the head, Harus exited the shuttle shortly after his two coworkers. Unfortunately, the group of guards that had been sent to provide a welcome party were dispatched before the Batarian had an opportunity to shoot any of them. Harus reminded himself to be a bit quicker next time, even if he'd been retired for the better part of 5 years, sloppiness was inexcusable.

Now that they were currently alone, the Batarian took the time to ask the Salarian a question regarding their job. "So, boss, I have to ask, what sort of person are we looking for? Chances are there's plenty of prisoners on this rock, and I doubt just grabbing the first one we see would be the best idea."

Gerard Kalgard

Gerard nodded, still recovering from the explosion. He had been closer to the blast, which caused him to be groggy but did little in the way of damage.

We gotta stop getting into fights. Each battle is a close scrape. One mistake will kill us both.

Shrugging off the pain, he looked down the corridor again. Empty.

"We must be getting close. I hear something in the distance."

Elvis Rioth

Elvis gave a nod to the Turian. All too easy...Finally the batarian decided to join them, bit slow for his liking but we can not expect everything to go smoothly in a situation such as this. He was just satisfied he survived the crash. He acknowledged the batarian's question as one that he should probably answer.

"An Asari, goes by Kiares. She is hard to miss. If the screaming coming down the hall is any indication, the prisoners are loose. Look out for the overly muscular Asari with a mask of grinning teeth. Make sure to identify yourself if you see her first, i do not want to have to carry you back to the shuttle. Avoid trying to shoot prisoners. If they get in your way or try to attack you, kill them or incapacitate them. I would like them to continue giving the guards hell as we accomplish our task. Now, let us continue down the offices. Most of the important facilities are close to this one, including their lockup, medical, and security for some examples. Between us and the prisoners proper would be the guards, but i have a feeling that they are not going to last. And i would like to find her and get out before the prisoners make us their bitches" Elvis took a deep breath, hadnt stopped talking that entire time......He exhaled, "Let's rock this Jailhouse..."

Striding over to the door, and taking up positions, he looked down the hallways. He saw figures running, gunning, and dying towards the end of it. He looked over to the Turian, "One eye! Take a look with your scope and tell me what you see!"

Fehln Davris

So they were here to free an asari that not only actually stood out, but from appearance alone looked like the kind of person he'd have had fun hunting and bringing in. Definitely not one he brought in before, he would have remembered someone like that. Until he actually saw her he'd simply have to deal with everything that got in their way, besides there was bound to be a prisoner or two he personally brought in, business only really dried up on his end a year ago at least.

He took up position opposite of the salarian and took a look into the hallway, adjusting the settings on his scope eye until he had what he needed. At the end of the hallway he saw several prisoners assaulting a pair of guards, beating one of them to death before they started getting torn apart by gun fire. The surviving human guard got up, aiming his vindicator rifle down the hallway the prisoners had come from, and was joined by three other guards, a turian with a shotgun and two salarians with sub machine guns. "Four guards still trying to pacify prisoners, looks like they might have a shot at winning as long as they stay together" he aimed his phalanx at them "want them taken care of?"

The sounds of combat persisted for only a small while longer. When all had become quiet, the lean human crouched against the wall waited for a few more moments, hearing footsteps heading back towards the barricade of the lock up. This led to the inference the prisoners had won. Circumstances proceeding desirably, the shackled man began to silently shamble down the corridor. When he reached one of the guards' corpses, he would kneel down, the messily-haired prisoner taking hold of the sidearm in his pale digits. Re-directing the weapon, he aimed it between and against his shackles.

A single shot ringing out, silence followed as he stood up, a quiet biotic thrum audible. Burning through the now-defunct shackles, they ruptured apart, largely becoming atomically vaporized aside from a few large fragments clinking to the floor. Popping his shoulders and flexing his neck backward, briefly facing the ceiling, the lean human let out a long exhale. It sounded of a combination of satisfaction and relief. His eyes giving a brief red glow before subsiding to their normal (if unusual) state, he quietly began to stride forward, closing the remaining five or six feet to the lock up.

Those inside would have heard the gunshot, but it wasn't a significant concern now. But although his pace was no longer slow or bearing hesitation, his posture was still elaborately unthreatening as he approached the door, having dropped the pistol and his hands clearly idle.

Kiares

Just when the masked asari wanted to voice her agreement to Ken’s suggestion, a gunshot cut through the silence. Immediately, Kiares biotics’s flared up, creating a barrier. Motioning for the Quarian to stay put, she carefully listened. The unmistakable sounds of biotics, for one. Something sounded off about it, but that might just be the closed door. Something hit the ground, than loud breathing. Not possible to say which species, only that it probably wasn’t a Krogan. Then footsteps, only one person as far as she could tell.

So far, she assumed that it was another prisoner, which by no means eliminated the possibility of hostile intentions, but at the very least decreased them.

In any case, the incident that had caused her stay in this dump had greatly lowered the number of her minions, and seeing how well it was working out with Ken so far, she might as well try to cover her expenses. Seeing how this presumed prisoner was ballsy enough to approach the door with four corpses littered in the corridor…..

Her barrier still in place, she walked forward with confident strides and opened the door.

To find a human. His colouring seemed a little odd, but then again, she was by no means an expert in xeno-biology. His hands were as empty as hers, and in difference to her, he hadn’t balled them into fists.

Seeing how this was a prison, that only meant that he was most likely smart enough to conceal any dangerous objects, and since she had reason to belief that he was a biotic as well….
She’d definitely watch her back with this one, but for now, further assessment was in order.

You are seeking to regain what was taken from you in this room?”
It was more of a statement than a question, and a challenging one at that, though it was a little hard to tell with her mask.

Sashryn Velentor

The young woman nodded as she began walking down the hall, M-13 raised. One particularly helpful feature of the Raptor was that it doubled as a semi-automatic assault rifle. While she was by no means particularly skilled with using it that way, an enemy would still likely find himself dead if he wasn't quick enough.

Sashryn approached the corner carefully and peeked around, hoping I tell what the commotion was. Sound indeed did carry in here, because the noises were coming from the end of a particularly long corridor lined with more cells. The commotion was caused by fighting between guards and prisoners, and it seemed like the prisoners would win, until the remaining guard was joined by three others. Smirking, Sashryn raised her sniper rifle and got a closer look with the scope. Two bore submachine guns, one bore a shotgun, and the last was wielding what seemed to be a Vindicator. Deciding to start with him, the assassin lined her crosshairs up with the man's head. She pulled the trigger. Headshot. His allies spun around, trying to figure out who fired the shot. A few seconds later, another fell with a bullet in his skull. The two remaining, one with a shotgun and the other with a submachine gun, finally saw her and took cover behind the corner of the adjacent hallway. Just peek your head around... thought the woman as she grinned. It still wasn't quite like camping out for a few days, waiting for the perfect shot, but it was a lot closer than fighting with a pistol.

The messily clad and black-haired human's crimson eyes peered emptily at the asari. It was clear he wasn't blind however from the way his view briefly shifted to specific points. (Such as her fists, where weapons would normally be holstered, and other things that even a moderately-seasoned or competent wayfarer would pay attention to.) Her lack of heavy equipment along with her barrier made it clear she was most likely the biotic he heard.

He immediately replied to her question with a quiet nod. "My suit and a single pistol." He stated in a well-spoken and articulate voice that was somewhat more deeply-projected than might be expected from someone of his lean build.

Ken'ara nar Usela

Ken heard the shot and readied his weapon, but when Kiares threw up her barrier and signaled him to wait he figured he would get a better position.
Fleeing to the far end of the room, across from the door, he took cover by a row of lockers. Bringing up his Mantis rifle he vanished as he activated his cloaking system, boy had he missed this. He aimed down the scope, locking onto the human that appeared in the doorway. If he made any threatening movements Ken would take the shot, but for now he waited for something to happen.

Kiares

Now Kiares was crossing her arms in front of her chest and cooking her head to the side questioningly. Her entire composure making it very clear that she was blocking the door to the lock up, she asked:
“And what would you do with your tools, should you reclaim them?”

"Only my clothing and a small heavy sidearm." He replied shortly. "Light armour. I do not wish to escape this facility naked and without protection. I am no threat to you." He added, his tone flat and his responses brief and direct.

"If you so desired, could you be a threat?" Kiares asked, sounding quite disinterested. In actuality she wanted to test his confidence, as well as his ability to judge others

"Yes." He stated. "But I only to wish to leave."

"A common cause then. How trite." Taking a big step to the side, making a subtle gesture behind her back for Ken to get out of the room, she continued talking: "I'll be waiting out here for exactly one minute and a half. If you find it in your fancy, our paths may continue to align. Should you be late, it will be as before."

Those last three sentences had bought Ken enough time to slip past her and press himself against the nearest wall, still cloaked. Kayne walked forward and into the lock up, speaking once more as he passed by the asari, as well as the hidden Quarian. "I will compensate you in whatever way you deem fit for transportation from this world."

"We'll see about compensation. For now, refrain from promises you can't keep."

Kayne

Kayne remained silent as the lock up's door closed behind him. This human was observably the sort that was one of few words most of the time. He was more inclined to perceiving actions as expressing more than words when it came to agreements, but not for perhaps the same reasons as some may think. Whatever the case, shortly after the doors had closed, the quiet human wasted no time. Locating his personal effects, he immediately donned and fastened them.

Following a brief suiting up that took just under twenty seconds, the final piece of equipment remaining was a sleek black gauntlet being filled with its master's hand. Holding it in front of his now-masked face, he flexed his digits, the tips of his fingers emanating a tiny shik as small hollow blades protruded his fingertips. Flexing his palm once again, they retracted, his mask's visor giving a dull red glow as he stepped back out from from the lock up after a total of roughly thirty-five seconds, wearing only his custom light armor and a small pistol fastened at his hip.

Elvis Rioth

He was about to give the order to open fire when he saw two of the guards go down. "Looks like someone beat us to the fun Turian." from the accuracy from the shots he would put his guess on some sort of sharp shooter complete with sniping instrument. Interesting. " Open fire and take the rest out. I will move ahead and scout out the sniper picking them off. Hopefully they are open to negotiations..." With that he turned on his tech armor and start moving forward, keeping to the side walls for cover. His tempest was not a ranged weapon so he hoped his allies would do their jobs sooner than later before he was picked off.

Harus
The target was an Asari with a few physical quirks, apparently. Not all too surprising, as prison breaks were rarely made for the sake of an unremarkable individual. His employer's remark regarding prisoners elicited a chuckle from the Batarian, as he had the strange feeling the other inmates wouldn't take very kindly to being left behind.

Once his Turian co-worker notified them of another group of hostiles, Harus' train of thought came to an abrupt halt. Moving into position alongside the other members of his group, the Batarian waited for an opportunity to charge in, only for two of the guards to drop dead due to gunfire. However, the shots had come from a different direction than that of his co-workers, which led him to the same conclusion as his employer.

Well, on the upside, whoever it was, they'd provided him with the opportunity he'd been waiting for. The Batarian burst into the hallway, and lobbed an inferno grenade at the two remaining guards, which would either kill them outright or disorient them long enough for Harus to get in range to use his shotgun. The inferno grenade, while failing to kill the two of them, severely injured one and briefly stunned the other. By the time the latter guard regained his focus, he found himself briefly staring into the barrel of an AT-12 Raider, before the Batarian pulled the trigger. The second guard received a similar treatment.

Kiares

Swift change of clothes. Outfit was no regular uniform, and appeared to be rather expansive. Experienced handling of military equipment. No common thug, either part of some military organisation, or just a very rich man with dangerous hobbies. Equipment wise, likely to be a brawler similar to her, but with more cutting edges.

Her face betraying no emotion thanks to the mask, she nudged her head away from the door, saying:
“We’ll be heading for the centre of the storm. We meet guards, they join Piares. We meet anything else, don’t act until attacked or by my word. Shooting the pilot is a taboo.”

With that, she got moving. As much as she disliked showing her back to the new guy with the blades, she had to establish dominance by being the one to lead the way. In the worst case, Ken, who was skilfully matching his steps with hers to remain undetected, would be her backup plan.

Kayne

The leanly-built black-armored human followed behind her silently, complying. His movement was agile and relatively quiet, and he fortunately appeared to keep up without issue.

Fehln Davris

He watched in awe as two of the guards were taken out with precise head shots by someone from the hallway the prisoners had come from. Only the guards would have had sniper rifles, so unless one of their own had decided the break out was the perfect opportunity to deal with old grudges or something, a prisoner, a dangerous and skilled one at that, had killed them. He couldn't help but smirk at the prospect of meeting whoever had shot the guards, any two bit merc could shoot a rifle, it took someone with training to make the shots that killed the guards.

The salarian gave the order to deal with the remaining guards, and the batarian did so with speed and efficiency, leaving it to him to fall in with their boss. He was hoping they wouldn't have to kill whoever had been using the rifle, at least not before learning their name, Fehln didn't like leaving people like them nameless.
